Amazing service and super fresh food at Ted’s Fish Fry. You can feel the family history in how they run the place. The manager made sure our experience was excellent. Will definitely be back.

I remember when Ted's in Watervliet was a seasonal establishment and we couldn't wait until spring when they opened for the season. They had the best fish fry back then but over the years it has changed. While I only go there once or twice a year, I am generally dissapointed with the fish. Whatever kind they use now is very bland and on the wet side. Moisture actually drips out of it. It is not bad, just not my preferred type of fish for a fish fry. I would love it if they went back to using haddock, or at least offer it as an option. I certainly would be willing to pay a couple of bucks more for a nice haddock fish fry.

Ted’s has been around so long because they are so awesome!!! The fish is always fresh. The hot dogs with meat sauce are great. The fries are crisp on outside and soft on the Insides. The coleslaw is just always the right amount of dressing, not soggy swimming in dressing and not dry - always seems just right! Also parsley or cilantro in coleslaw is great! If you like fried clams they are great (almost as good as Howard Johnsons for those of you that remember them!). We used to eat at the East Syracuse and was always good and note that we’re in capital district have been using Washington ave and waiting for the Ballston spa/saratoga to open for season. Please go if you like clean fast food and reasonable prices. The food in our experience is always great and serves are friendly and super efficient. Also don’t be scared if see line when walk in, they are very efficient and lines move quick.

This was my first time visiting the Western Ave location. My daughter and I stopped in for an early lunch. They have a bar area in the back and counter to order food. They also have a few outdoor tables. We got 2 clam frys and french fries. The food came out quickly and was piping hot.

First Ted's fish fry in years. Wasn't disappointed. Very good. Western Avenue Albany. Went back and had calamari. Good Back again for another lunch special. Very good.
